Nick Duggan
President

Nick Duggan leads internal communications for the for the 2,500-employee Mobility Apps business unit of Citrix. As a member of the division’s senior leadership team, Nick serves as a partner and advisor to company leaders on communication strategy. He manages all aspects of internal communications globally, including All Hands events, leadership communications and change management projects. Nick previously held marketing roles at the American Heart Association, DaVita Inc., and The Zitter Group, and is also a trained life and business coach. Nick earned his B.A. in communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara.


Mike Spasoff
Immediate Past President & Webmaster

Mike Spasoff is a Sr. Media Development Consultant at Health Net, Inc. There, he co-chairs the Social Media Working Group responsible for aligning social media efforts across the company. His focus is on innovative uses of technology to support communications throughout the company. The result of this work has been targeted social media launches to solve real-world challenges facing Health Net as well as the health care industry. Most recently, he introduced Health Net associates to a refreshed corporate brand with an award winning social media game called “Brandville.”


Nicole Maury
Past President & Treasurer

Nicole Maury is a project curator consultant with an extensive background in corporate communications, creative development for internal and external marketing promotion, and overall project management. She has an unusual layered career including curating fine art photography artworks and assets disposition sales. Nicole brings a visual impact to her clients’ work and projects through video and social business media while also using her creative and business writing skills to target respective audiences towards results.


Leslie Dodson
Vice President, Social Media

Leslie Dodson is a Communications Manager at Kaiser Permanente (KP). She works in its 6,000-employee Information Technology division, providing strategic communications for large-scale technology implementations and workplace engagement initiatives. Prior, she served as New Media Manager for KP’s Southern California Permanente Medical Group, merging her publishing, corporate communications and technology experience to support and produce intranet sites and portals, lead social media initiatives, manage content for the national Kaiser Permanente website and provide communication support for physician executives. Originally from Washington, D.C., Leslie is a graduate of the University of Virginia.


Amy Prindle
Vice President, Communications

Amy Prindle runs her own copywriting business, Marketing, She Wrote. Amy began her career journey in magazine publishing, which cultivated her focus on the final product. A longtime member of the American Copy Editors Society, she became a certified copy editor and polished many books, articles, and promotional materials into print. But her zeal for creating content was uncontainable. As she was approached for more and more writing projects, she knew it was time to adapt her business to reflect this progression. She delightedly evolved into a storyteller for hire,  and she’s since told the stories of a fast-growing energy management software company, a nonprofit content agency, a 12-topic health seminar series, and several small businesses.


IABC-LA is governed by a board of volunteers according to IABC bylaws and the chapter’s own bylaws.
