What kind of events do we offer?
IABC Los Angeles organizes regular monthly events each year from September through June.
We provide a mix of networking and professional development events, and rotate locations each month. We rotate between four main areas of Los Angeles – Downtown, South Bay, Pasadena/Burbank and occasionally Woodland Hills, (so our members have at least a couple of chances to attend without spending all day on the freeway). Most monthly events are held in the evening and last for approximately 2 hours.
There are two special events each year – our December Holiday Party and our June Gala. For these events, we try and find a very special Los Angeles spot, renowned keynote speakers, and/or an interesting activity (i.e., our murder mystery luncheon Dec 2011).
The volunteer Chapter Board is always looking for suggested topics, venues (corporate conference rooms? private rooms in restaurants? Museums, libraries?) and also recommendations for good speakers. If you have some ideas on any of these that you would like us to consider, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
