Then join our partners at IABC San Diego for “Board of Directors Fundamentals: Learn to Support Your NonProfit Organization” on Saturday, March 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This is an in person event at San Diego Workforce Partnership, 9246 Lightwave Ave #210 in San Diego.
Katharine Ann Campbell, a certified board trainer, will take an in-depth look at the foundational and operational components of a nonprofit board of directors. The discussion will touch on the following:
• What transferable skills could serve you as a board member or volunteer?
• What are functional roles and committee best practices for success?
• What are the legal obligations to the IRS, the community, and the organization’s membership?
