In this workshop, we’ll look at all three principles and how to apply each to your communications. We’ll include tips on how to prepare for the exams, with plenty of time for Q&A.
Ed Kamrin, SCMP will lead “Master the Three Principles of Audience-Centric Communication.” He’s the founder and principal consultant at Kamrin Communications, which provides strategic communication services that help create healthier organizations and a healthier world. Over twenty years in the field, he’s worked with companies such as Amgen, Gilead Sciences, McKesson, and SunPower. Ed is immediate past chair of the IABC Gold Quill Awards and has served as Pacific Plains Region chair and San Francisco IABC president. He earned his CMP in 2017 and SCMP in 2018.
Join us as moderator Sia Papageorgiou, FRSA, SCMP, vice-chair of the Global Communication Certification Council, provides a special series-end overview of the value of GCCC certification. A communication consultant and trainer, Sia is on a mission to elevate the value and visibility of communication professionals and help them become trusted, strategic, and in-demand advisors. She is a former IABC chapter and regional leader and was named IABC Chapter Leader of the Year in 2020.

The session is part of the 2021 Communication Management Pro Series, a collaboration between five California IABC chapters — Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley— in preparation for the Communication Management Professional (CMP) and Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP) certification exams.
